Mr. Warr is a member of the San Francisco Tour Guide Guild, and Mr. Holmes is the Guild’s President. This lecture examines the role of African Americans in the first century of California history, from “New Spain” to the 1850 Compromise to the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition.
